Tom Brady’s Netflix roast aired quite a while back, but that hardly means the former NFL star won’t get trolled occasionally.
Even with his statue being erected outside the Gillette Stadium, folks found reasons to poke fun at him.
The seven-time Super Bowl winner witnessed a 12-foot bronze statue bearing his likeness unveiled in front of fans on Friday evening. The sculpture depicts Brady wearing his iconic No. 12 jersey and holding his Patriots helmet in his left hand, with the base listing all six Super Bowl titles he won with the team.
“This is quite overwhelming to me,” he said. “I feel extremely honored, deeply grateful and, if I’m being honest, kind of old. … I never dreamed I’d be standing here 2½ decades later, made of bronze and frozen in time. It actually feels pretty appropriate given my 40-yard dash time.”
He couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the New York Jets.

As noted above, he was the subject of some jokes himself. One post claiming he looked like Walton Goggins’ character from ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ has gone viral and can be seen below:
We see where they’re coming from. And Jets fans will probably find this funnier than most, given Tom Brady’s jab.
Still, they’ve come off worst here.
