By now, everyone knows that Taylor Swift is engaged to Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, and the two are planning a wedding and to live their lives together. It has to be hard on their exes. Just imagine if one of your exes got engaged in a very high-profile situation and the entire world was watching. That really has to hurt.

Swift has lots of exes that she’s sung about in various songs throughout the years. But, Kelce has some ex-girlfriends, too. One of his most high-profile exes is Kayla Nicole, who has been pretty vocal about their relationship.

Nicole was finally publicly asked about Kelce and Swift getting engaged, and her response says it all. She didn’t say anything bad about the two, which is classy, but she didn’t say much at all.

Kelce’s ex was asked about the his engagement to Swift for the first time on Thursday, September 11, and she was able to avoid answering the question.

“Oh, no, no, no” she said to the Daily Mail at House of Champions’ New York Fashion Week event and then quickly changed the subject. So, she kind of responded but kind of didn’t. As I said above, it was classy that she didn’t say anything bad about it, and hopefully she’s not too upset about Kelce finding his forever girl.

“I’m really happy to be here at Champion, though,” she added on the red carpet, getting the subject off of her and onto the party.

On the topic of football, the Chiefs lost to the Chargers in Week 1, but they’re back and up against the Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. Heading into the matchup, it’s really no surprise that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has some of the hottest-selling merch in the NFL.

The NFLPA has released its year-end Top 50 player sales list, which reports on sales from March 1 through July 31, 2025. This really captures that time between seasons, when it’s likely that whichever team won the championship will have the hottest gear available. So, how well did Mahomes’ merchandise sell during this period?

The annual list from the NFLPA is the only verified ranking of all officially licensed, NFL player-branded merchandise sold via online and traditional retail outlets, and it’s reported by more than 85 NFLPA licensees, including Fanatics, Outerstuff, Fathead, FOCO and Funko. It’s all official merch and totally licensed. Some of the licensed items and product categories included trading cards, men’s, women’s, and youth game jerseys, T-shirts and hoodies, backpacks, wall decals, pennants, collectible figurines, matted and framed photos, bobbleheads, plush, drinkware and pet products.

Mahomes was No. 7 on the tally, which is great. Eagles All-Pro and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley ranked No. 1. According to Sportico, Barkley is the first running back to snag that No. 1 showing since former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot in 2017.

From there, Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts was No. 2, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was No. 3, Bills quarterback Josh Allen was No. 4 and Eagles’ Cooper DeJean was No. 6.
