NFL BREAKING NEWS: Chances of Tyreek Hill rejoining the Kansas City Chiefs skyrocket after Week 2 – Fans are excited about a shocking comeback to the league. This news quickly caused the fan community to explode, with forums and social networks filled with discussions about the scenario of “Cheetah” returning to the Chiefs. If this dream deal comes true, Patrick Mahomes will once again reunite with his best teammate,…

The Kansas City Chiefs could use some help in the wide receivers corps. Xavier Worthy will hopefully be back this season, but he’s also looking at at least a multi-week absence after hurting his shoulder in the season opener.

Worthy collided with Travis Kelce on the team’s first offensive drive of the year to continue the Chiefs’ now-yearly tradition of being without one of its pass-catching stars. Add Rashee Rice’s suspension to the mix, and the need for another wideout is all the more evident.

That’s why, after watching the Miami Dolphins struggle mightily against the Indianapolis Colts, it seems like a reunion with Tyreek Hill not only makes sense for everybody involved but might actually be what they need to do.

Chiefs' Tyreek Hill on Career Growth: 'You Think You Hot S***'

To say that Hill is persona non grata in South Beach would be a lot to say. Then again, this is the first time since he joined the team in 2022 that he wasn’t selected as a team captain. It may not mean anything, but it’s worth mentioning nonetheless.

Tua Tagovailoa made it loud and clear that Hill needed to repair his relationship with his teammates after his late-season antics. He’s downplayed those comments ever since, but the former Super Bowl champion was on thin ice.

Hill looked incredibly frustrated on the sidelines just a couple of drives into the season, and the tension in Miami is palpable. Mike McDaniel is on the hot seat, and they won’t want the veteran wide receiver creating more trouble than they can handle.

Hill is coming off the worst season of his career, and not many aging wide receivers who rely on their speed can brag about making a big impact after a certain age. Then again, he’s familiar with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense, and he’s most definitely worth the try.

The Chiefs will lean on Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster in Worthy’s and Rice’s absence, with Travis Kelce also more involved. But if this team wants to go back to its dominant ways, its best bet will be to get back together with its speedster. He can be a free agent after this season, so the timing is perfect.
