Jerry Jones is a bull-headed traditionalist when it comes to his business tactics and strategies. The business mogul has been one of the biggest headlines this offseason with the contract extension standoff with one of the linebackers in his team.

Micah Parsons, a four-time Pro Bowler and former DROY, and the Dallas Cowboys management have been dancing around the former’s contract. The offseason has been rife with one or another headline regarding the same. In early August, the contract extensions started to go south as their relationship became even more strained, and Parsons requested a trade.

At the centre of the whole drama has been Jerry Jones’ unwillingness to negotiate with Parsons’ agent, David Mulugheta. Jones recently accused Mulugheta of being uncooperative and crass in an appearance on the podcast hosted by former player Michael Irvin. The claims have pushed the narrative once again into the mainstream.

Jones has reiterated his stance on the negotiations and admitted that he thinks Mulugheta should have no part in the contract negotiations. In a sit-down with one of his biggest critics, Stephen A. Smith, Jones noted that only he and the player need to be comfortable for the negotiations to work.n supporting Jones, Mulugheta is one of the leading sports agents in the NFL. The Texan, born to Eritrean parents, was the first NFL agent to secure deals worth more than a billion dollars in a single year. On top of everything, Parsons has repeatedly asked to negotiate with his agent.

David Mulugheta’s opinion matters to Micah Parsons. The repeated attempts to diminish him won’t go well with the linebacker.

Ryan Clark lashed out at Jerry Jones after his initial accusations against David Mulugheta. Clark, in a video posted on his social media, noted that he had talked to Mulugheta in the wake of the crass comments.

In the video, Clark mentioned that he spoke to the agent about the truth behind the statements. Mulugheta reportedly said that he has never said that phrase in his life. Clark then iterated his reporting and accused Jerry Jones of lying.

RJ Ochoa, a prominent media personality, shared Clark’s sentiments. He noted that Jones has been playing a calculated game and shaping the narrative about the whole ordeal. Furthermore, he added that Parsons and his agent might have documented their interactions with the management, and they won’t let Jones’ comments be passed on as truth.

Micah Parsons has already responded in some way. He distanced himself from the management on his X handle. He removed the Cowboys mention from his bio and replaced it with Penn State. TBD. He also tweeted twice, one a Bible verse about resurrection and rising from adversities, and the latter one a direct shot.
